East Bay Community Action Program

East Bay Community Action Program is a private, nonprofit 501 (c) (3) corporation that provides health programs, dental programs, food pantry schedules, heating assistance, weatherization and other services. Weatherization services include minor home repairs, energy audits, storm doors and windows, insulation, caulking and weatherstripping, window replacement, boiler repairs, and replacement burners.

The Department of Elderly Affairs Customer Information Referral and Assistance Center is staffed by Customer Information Specialists who are trained to answer questions, provide information and referral, and offer counsel regarding the issues of growing older in Rhode Island including health insurance, housing, medication assistance, Medicare, Medicaid, the Rhode Island Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Elderly (RIPAE) Program, Social Security and Food Stamps as well as other support programs and services.
