“10,000 Small Businesses has given me the opportunity to step outside my day-to-day operations and take a look and how to improve and attain sustainable growth. Since the start of the program, Stay at Home has been working on a plan to offer new services to help those afflicted with cognitive impairment including Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Parkinson’s and Memory Loss.”

The business executives spent 12 weeks - roughly 100 class hours - at the Community College of Rhode Island studying a business and management curriculum designed by Babson College and delivered by Community College of Rhode Island faculty. The curriculum covered accounting, human resources, negotiation and marketing, among other topics. The program also included one-on-one business advising, accounting workshops and advice from Goldman Sachs professionals. Applications for 10,000 Small Businesses are reviewed by Goldman Sachs and CCRI professionals. The program is open to business owners or Chief Executive Officers from the Greater Rhode Island region.
